Become a Moktra pandit
Conduct pujas for families near you, with the samagri packed and the schedule already confirmed. Your dakshina is credited to your Moktra wallet after the puja, and withdraws to your own bank account.
What you do for a puja
You conduct the vidhi. Everything around it — the booking, the samagri, the family briefing, the payment — is arranged before you arrive.
Accept the booking
You see the rite, muhurat, address, distance and dakshina up front. Accept only what suits your schedule.
Carry the samagri kit
Moktra packs the full samagri for the rite and hands it to you, so nothing is missing at the family's door.
Conduct the vidhi
Perform the rites in the language the family chose, following the vidhi their tradition asks for.
Close with the family OTP
The family shares a one-time code to confirm the puja was conducted. That code releases your payment.
How you get your money
The family pays Moktra when they book. You never collect cash or discuss rates at the door. Once the puja is successfully conducted, the dakshina is credited to your Moktra wallet — and from there you withdraw it to your own bank account.
Puja is conducted and confirmed
STEP 1You complete the rites and the family confirms with their OTP. The booking is marked successfully conducted.
Dakshina is credited to your wallet
STEP 2The full agreed amount is credited to your Moktra wallet right after confirmation. No cash, no follow-up with the family.
A short settlement hold
STEP 3The credited amount unlocks for withdrawal once the booking closes cleanly. You can watch the balance in Pandit Corner.
Withdraw to your own bank account
STEP 4Send the unlocked balance to the bank account registered in your name, whenever you want. No withdrawal fee.

Questions pandits ask
When exactly does the money reach my wallet?
Right after the puja is marked successfully conducted with the family's OTP. The credit shows in your Moktra wallet the same day, not at the end of the month.
Why is there a settlement hold?
The hold is a short window after the credit. It lets the booking close cleanly before the amount becomes withdrawable. Once it passes, the balance is yours to move any time.
Which bank account can I withdraw to?
Any account held in your own name. You add it once during verification, and every withdrawal goes to that account.
Do I ever collect money from the family?
No. The family pays Moktra when they book, so you never discuss rates or handle cash at the door. Only the dakshina shown on the booking applies.
What happens if a booking is cancelled?
Cancellations before the puja do not affect your wallet. If a family cancels late, our team confirms the outcome with you before anything is settled.
Can I decline a booking?
Yes. Requests arrive with the rite, timing, distance and dakshina, and you accept only the ones that suit your schedule.
